DELAYS of up to an hour on Oxford Bus Company services going into London are reported.

The company is also experiencing delays on its number 2 service to Kidlington and other buses are not stopping in estates including Elms Rise, Wolvercote, Barton, Northway, Kennington, Radley or Harcourt Hill.

The rest of the travel picture in the county is as follows:

•Trains between Bicester and Oxford have been suspended for the rest of the day

•Delays are reported on Rail services between Oxford and Paddington and Worcester to Paddington via Oxford

•National Express has warned travellers to expect “significant disruption” to journeys and has offered to amend tickets free of charge if trips are affected by the weather.

•Hazardous conditions are reported on roads across the county including the A44 in Woodstock, where a number of lorries reportedly are stuck near The Black Prince pub, on the A361 South Bar Street in Banbury, on the A415 both ways between Kingston Bagpuize and Standlake and lorries are reported to be abandoned on the A4421 in Bicester

Chiltern Railways is running an amended timetable subject to delays and cancellations and access to stations between Banbury and Denham is reported to be extremely difficult. Visit chilternrailways.co.uk

•All Stagecoach services have been disrupted. Only services 1, 3, 7, 10, 14, X30, 31, S2, S5, B5, B8 and the Oxford tube are running and routes will not be stopping at Rose HIll or Barton.
