South Oxfordshire District Council will be closing its offices from 1pm today due to the continuing heavy snow, freezing temperatures and hazardous roads.
Weather permitting, it will reopen tomorrow as normal but residents and staff are advised to check the council’s website for updates.
In an emergency residents can call 01491 824033 or visit southoxon.gov.uk After 5pm residents can also ring Oxfordshire County Council's hotline on 0845 050 7666 for all queries except roads and transport, the a SODC spokesman said.
