Heavy snow tonight closed the A40 Oxford Northern Bypass.
The dual carriageway was closed both ways closed due to snow between the Cutteslowe Roundabout and the Headington Roundabout.
Police warned drivers to expect delays.
Police hope to reopen the road as soon as snow ploughs and gritters have been through.
