Police are appealing for information after two burglaries in the Henley area.

Between 12pm on Thursday, December 10, and 3.30pm on Saturday, thieves broke into a property in Highmoor Cross and stole jewellery, and on December 11, a house in the Fairmile was burgled.

Det Con George Bradley, investigating the incidents, said: “At the time of the burglary in Highmoor Cross a white van, with the word, ‘hire’ written on the side was seen in the area.

“I appeal to anyone who might have information about the van, or seen any suspicious activity in either of the areas, to contact me.”
