A woman who fell from a multi-storey car park this afternoon has died in hospital.
Police and paramedics were called at about 12.40pm after a woman, reported to be aged in her forties, fell from the five-storey Charter car park, in Broad Street, Abingdon.
She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with life-threatening injuries and police closed Queen Street, causing major traffic problems in the town.
The woman died at the hospital at about 5pm.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
