We are touched by the forgiveness shown by Sally Kent to a driver, Magdalena Ochnio, who caused the death of her 13-year-old daughter when she drove into the back of Ms Kent’s car.
Ms Kent has witnessed the remorse shown by Ochnio and the effect the accident has had on Ochnio’s life. She says she does not want to see her go to prison.
This case is a lesson to us all. A momentary lack of concentration or care in our driving destroys lives. It can take the lives of the victims, destroy the lives of those left behind and also destroy the lives of those guilty of the lapse.
