Police today appealed for witnesses following an arson in Banbury.
At about 11.15pm on Friday a fire started in the Cricketers Arms in Middleton Road.
Det Con Rebecca McCamley said: “At this stage it is not known how the fire was started but we do believe that it was started deliberately.
“I appeal to anyone who might know who is responsible for this, or saw anything suspicious, on the evening to contact police immediately.”
