Police tonight appealed for witnesses after a girl was threatened in Belbroughton Road, Oxford.
At about 8am yesterday, a man approached a 16-year-old girl and demanded she hand over her belongings. The girl refused and hit him in the face to defend herself.
The man was white, medium build, and was wearing a dark hooded top, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Det Con Claire Argent, said: “There were a few people around at that time and I urge anyone with any information that could help with our investigations to get in touch.”
