Apart from Mr Lee’s rant (Oxford Mail letters, November 26), you have had a spate of letters about hunting and animal abuse. At the same time, you have had one letter about Fiona Pilkington but none at all about Baby P, Gary McKinnon or Louisa Watts.

Who are these people who appear to care so much for animals but not for their own kind? I hope they will leave their bodies to science so that we can learn what part of them is lacking.
