Sir – As reported in the local press, the Government has now given the go-ahead for the consultation on the academy run by the United Learning Trust to replace Oxford Community School. The Labour group on the county council would favour a Co-operative School Trust instead of an academy.
We want parents, staff and the local community to find out more about the proposals to set up an academy and to get involved in the consultation.
Central government will follow the wishes of the county council, that is why it is important for the county council to hear the opinions of parents and the local community.
