FATHER Christmas will start his rounds early this year.

The Lions Club of Witney is taking its float to Cogges Hill Road, Oxlease, Manor Road, Hollis Close, on Thursday. It will be collecting money for charity.

On Friday, it will be at Jacobs Mill Estate, Burford Road, Springfield Oval, Davenport Road and Tower Hill.

On Saturday it will be in Eynsham and on Monday it will be in Freeland.

On Tuesday collections will take place at Blakes Avenue, Eton Close, Church Lane and Judds Close, and the following day it will be at Newlands Mill, Pensclose, Compton Way and Kingsfield Close.

Next Thursday, December 10, it will be at New Yatt Road, Vanner Rd and Chestnut Close.

On Friday, December 11, the float will be at Early Road, Woodlands Road, The Crescent and Woodstock Road.

On Saturday, December 12, it will be at Sainsbury’s and on Monday, December 14 it will be at Thorney Leys. On Tuesday, December 15, it will be at Cornfield Close, Elm Close and Smith’s Estate.

The following day the Lions will be in Ducklington and on Thursday, December 17 it will be in Long Hanborough.

On Friday, December 18 it will be in Ducklington Lane, Burwell Estate.

On Saturday, December 19 the float will be all day in Waitrose and on Monday, December 22 it will be at Marriotts Walk. All collections start at about 6pm.
