Burglars targeting Christmas presents have struck in Banbury.
Police are now linking seven break-ins in the past three weeks.
The most recent break-in happened at a house on the Poet’s Corner estate at about 7.50pm on Friday, when cash and jewellery were stolen.
Police have refused to give the street name, but appealed for information about a suspect seen in Browning Road.
Officers are linking the burglary with break-ins in Sinclair Avenue, Ruscote, Gillett Road, Neithrop, and two properties in Northcot Lane, Neithrop, on Wednesday, November 25, in Marlowe Close, in Bretch Hill, on Wednesday, November 18, and Erica Close, on Wednesday, November 11. In Northcot Lane a stash of Christmas presents were taken.
Police want to speak to a man described as between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins with short, dark hair and a black eye.
