POLICE have closed a section of the M40 after an accident involving two cars and a lorry.
They were called at 4.15pm to the northbound carriageway, between junction six for Lewknor and junction seven for Milton Common.
A police spokesman said they had reports of a three-vehicle collision including a red Peugeot, a red Volvo lorry and a blue Volkswagen.
They were unable to say how many passengers had been involved or give details of their injuries.
The section of the motorway has been closed while police are on the scene.
