Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash that happened in Henley in the early hours today.

At about 12.05am, a green Renault Laguna collided with a lamppost oi Reading Road, opposite the Jet petrol station.

One of the passengers, a woman, was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, a man, and the other passenger, a woman, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and have since been discharged.

PC Ed Crofts said: “I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen the vehicle travelling from Henley prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
