A crash involving a lorry and two vans caused delays for drivers on the M40 in north Oxfordshire today.
Queueing traffic built up after the crash on the southbound carriageway before junction nine.
Congestion stretched back to junction ten at the Cherwell Valley Services.
All lanes have been re-opened and the vehicles have been moved to the hard shoulder.
The crash also led to queueing traffic on the A43 southbound before junction ten on the M40.
