Sir – Two of last week’s letters referred to wind turbines as being 100ft and 30m high (Paul Hornby and M. Palmer respectively).
I wonder if it would be possible for you to clarify that the actual height of the wind turbine proposed for Cutteslowe Park is up to 130m (measured to the tip) ie a truly monstrous carbuncle about four times the size anticipated by these two correspondents.
