SENIOR Aircraftman Stephen Green is proud of his Operational Service Medal and quite rightly.
Fourteen members of 4624 Squadron of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force yesterday received their service medals after serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Like so many of our service personnel, these airforce reservists have hair-raising tales from combat – the full magnitude of which many civilians have difficulty comprehending.
We send our salute to these inspiring men and women.
