With a lunchtime kick off the two teams were able to play in more clement conditions than might have been expected at breakfast time. Summertown got into their passing groove very early on and put Barton under pressure from the start. With braces from both Aidan Bradley and Sean Fairns and a goal from George Caddick, Summertown went into the interval 5-0 up. Barton did not give up and continued to battle hard and were unlucky not to see their endeavours rewarded with a goal. The second half was a much scrappier affair as the boys tired and the forward lines of both sides used their speed to get behind the defences. Surprisingly there was only one goal in the second half scored by Summertown's Octavi Casals Farre.

Final score Summertown United 6 v 0 Barton United Scorers: Aidan Bradley (2), Sean Fairns (2), George Caddick (1), Octavi Casals Farre (1)
