LAST week, by the ticket machine in Oxford’s Westgate car park, my legs gave way and I had to grab my husband to stay upright.
Luckily help came from some total strangers.
A lady visiting Oxford helped to hold one wrist, my husband collected our ticket and a second lady and two young men also stopped to help.
The two ladies stayed with me while the two men, who were leaving the car park and running out of time, went with my husband.
He found our car and managed to drive up to level four to collect me.
Both my husband and myself wish to express our sincere thanks to the four Good Samaritans for their assistance – without which I might have ended up in the A&E department.
