RATHER predictably Oxford Brookes University has not given up on its massive redevelopment of the Gipsy Lane campus and it is no surprise.
It is now coming back with yet another downscaling of the plans and is optimistically hoping it will be accepted by neighbours who have been implacably opposed to it so far.
Brookes needs to grow or it will die. Hopefully this new design will find some level of acceptance for the sake of both sides.
