A debate on alcohol issues is being held tomorrow evening in Oxford.
Called the ‘Big Drink Debate’, the event will be chaired by broadcaster Nicky Campbell.
Inspector John Fox, Alcohol and Violent Crime Coordinator for Thames Valley Police will be on the expert panel which will include representatives from health and the drinks industry.
The aim of the event is to gather views and opinions and use them to form a Big Drink Debate manifesto which will inform future alcohol priorities across the South East.
The event is being led by NHS South Central, NHS South East Coast and the Government Office for the South East with close involvement from Thames Valley Police, Hampshire Constabulary, the drinks industry, retailers and universities.
The debate will be held at Oxford University's Museum of Natural History at 7-9pm.
