DRIVERS have suffered delays on Oxford’s A34 Western bypass this morning after a cow got onto the dual carriageway.

Police set up a rolling roadblock after 7am to search for the cow after it was spotted loose between the Peartree and Botley interchanges on the southbound carriageway.

There were also delays on the southbound carriageway of the M40, between Junction 10 for Brackley and Junction Nine for Bicester, when two cars collided shortly after 8am.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said paramedics attended the crash but the drivers did not need any treatment.
