Developer Naus Albion has completed the first phase of its seven-acre mixed commercial development scheme next to the Eastern bypass in Cowley.

Mini parts supplier Nedschroef Fasteners now occupies a 30,000 sq ft new distribution facility, conveniently located for the Cowley car plant.

Meanwhile, a parcel distribution firm has taken a lease on a 20,250 sq ft unit.

And national bus operator Stagecoach has also secured a one-acre site under development to the rear of the scheme for its new bus depot.

Other occupiers include Baumhaus, which was established in 2007, and has grown into one of the UK’s most successful wholesale furniture businesses.

The final unit of the first phase is available and provides a 20,335 sq ft warehouse/production facility with a 40 m yard. It features the latest environmentally-friendly technology, including solar walls which warm up during the day and slowly release heat into the unit during the night to maintain internal temperatures.

The second phase of the development will have pre-let opportunities offering bespoke buildings for a variety of uses including trade, builders’ merchants, production and warehousing from 2,000 sq ft to 60,000 sq ft.
