A 25-year-old man who absconded from Littlemore Hospital on Wednesday returned to the hospital late last night.
Mental health patient Saju Miah was sent to a secure unit at the hospital after attacking a pensioner with a rock in 2005.
Yesterday police searched gardens and homes across Oxford and airports were warned he might try to leave the UK.
