A new national chain dubbed ‘son of Woolworths’ will launch its first store in Didcot tomorrow.
Alworths will open in the old Woolworths store in the Orchard Centre, Didcot, at 10am. The occasion will be celebrated with a launch party featuring live music and street entertainers.
Many of the 35 new employees are former Woolworths workers, including ex-manager Helen Benson.
