IF the Iraq/Afghanistan conflicts are illegal, and all military personnel killed are unlawfully killed, how come the medals awarded are legally ‘won’? It is, in my opinion, that medals (big and small, VC, DFC, OBE, etc), shall not be won in illegal conflicts but only in ‘declared wars’, ie WWI, WWII.
