COUNCILLOR John Tanner’s argument in favour of closing seven of Oxford’s public toilets (Oxford Mail, October 22) opens with the words "I have never known the City Council to be so short of money".
Is this why he is proposing to spend £300,000 on tarting up the Gloucester Green toilets? So much for logical thought!
