Police are appealing for witnesses after a red Nissan Micra was found burning in a car park in Portway, Banbury.
The car was found at about 11pm on Saturday.
PC Ian Gibbard said: “At this stage we are working with the Fire Service to determine how the fire started but believe it was started deliberately.
“I am appealing to anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity in the area to contact me.”
