Drayton Wasps bagged their 2nd win of the season with a workmanlike victory over Oxford Blackbirds 'B'. A very even 1st half was set alight with an impressive opening first goal. Drayton passed the ball from one end of the pitch to the other, using nearly every player, before Nick Webster calmly slotted the ball home from 10 yards. Neither team could gain the upper hand during the 2nd half with both defences performing well, Brandon Hewerdine and Lewis Durkin for Drayton, and Reece Mclennon for Blackbirds, in particular. After another neat passing move involving Nick Webster and James Evans, leading scorer Josh Dennis doubled Drayton's score. A cracking end to end match played in a great atmosphere. Well done to both teams.
