Emergency crews are attending a three-car collision on the M40 near Bicester.

Paramedics are now at the scene of the crash, which happened on the southbound carriageway, about two miles south of junction 10 at Ardley.

One lane is blocked and traffic is being forced to queue because of the accident, which happened at about 7.45am.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: “We were alerted by the fire service and are on scene now. We don’t have any further information at this time.”

Police and Highways Agency staff are currently cordoning off the vehicles involved in the crash and traffic flow is reported to be extremely slow.
