Police officers discharged a Taser after they were called to an incident in Henley.
Officers were called to an address off the Reading Road at 4.20pm on Monday, after a report that a woman had attacked a man with a meat skewer, causing minor injuries.
A police spokesman said on arrival at the incident, the woman tried to attack officers with a weapon which lead to the Taser being discharged for both the woman’s and officers’ safety.
The woman was arrested and detained under the Mental Health Act.
