JAKE Spicer’s mum Lesley was so proud on Saturday.
If the memorial football event proved anything, it was that her treasured son will always remain in people’s memories.
Jake was a little hero for the way he faced his illness and worked for the benefit of others.
His death was quite rightly mourned by many. Yet at the weekend there were still hundreds who showed Jake may be gone but he is not forgotten.
