A FORMER public schoolboy who ran a drugs empire from his home has been ordered to pay back thousands of pounds of his ill-gotten gains.

Gregory Manning, 31, was jailed in December after admitting three charges of possessing drugs with intent to supply and four charges of possession.

A Proceeds of Crime Application hearing at Oxford Crown Court was told Manning’s drugs empire based at his home in River View, Kennington, amassed £122,171 over six years.

But Victoria Lorne, prosecuting, told the hearing Manning, who was a former student at Magdalen College School, was left with just £4,442.

Judge Julian Hall ordered Manning to pay that back.

The money will be handed to the Home Office to invest in police forces across the country.

Police who raided Manning’s house in August last year found drugs worth an estimated £40,000, including nearly 4,000 ecstasy pills. Hallucinogenic “magic” mushrooms, cocaine, cannabis and £2,340 in cash were also seized from his two-bedroom house.
