Passengers face long delays after services between Banbury and Haddenham and Thame Parkway were this morning suspended.
All Chiltern Railways trains have been cancelled along the route following a problem near the railway at Bicester North station.
Tickets are being accepted on CrossCountry, First Great Western, and Virgin Trains services.
No one from Chiltern Railways was available to comment this morning.
