In this column we like to paint an alternative picture to the doom and gloom that has enveloped the economy over the last 12 to 18 months and point to some of the reasons why Oxfordshire at least can look to a rosy future.
Last Friday’s Oxfordshire Business Awards attracted a record attendance of more than 500, with others left on a waiting list.
There was much on show to applaud, lending an air of optimism to events.
Congratulations to all the winners and to those shortlisted. They all prove that business in Oxfordshire has a bright future.
