The woman who died after falling from Carfax Tower in Oxford yesterday has been identified this morning.
A spokesman for Oxford coroner’s office said the woman was Patricia Stoute, 61, a married woman from Dunnock Way, Blackbird Leys.
Mrs Stoute fell to her death from the 74ft tower shortly before 12.30pm yesterday.
Police closed the tower and cordoned off the area as they launched an investigation.
The tower was reopened to the public by 2pm as officers continued their inquiries.
