A 20-year-old man has been charged with possessing an article with a blade or point.
Leslie Prince, of The Square, Abingdon, was walking along the High Street when police officers stopped him and allegedly found him concealing a Samurai sword in his clothing.
Prince has been released on bail to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on May 20.
