CHILTERN Railways’ £200m scheme for an Oxford to London Marylebone service looks impressive.
Let’s hope the 2013 deadline is met, for the benefit of all commuters.
The real bonus could be not only an alternative point of arrival for those going to the capital but an easing of the crowded conditions for those going to Paddington.
A chance to comment on the scheme comes up over the next few days and it is vital commuters grab it. Ultimately they will be the ones benefitting from the new service. It's better to speak now rather than moan later.
