Children can inject creativity into their half-term holiday next week by visiting the Oxfordshire Museum, in Woodstock.

The Sharmanka Travelling Circus and Gothic Kinetic uses mechanical objects and carved figures in an exhibition being performed until March 29.

The sculptures “speak”, each detailing personal and cultural stories of life, death, cruelty and beauty.

Youngsters can visit the exhibition in Park Street from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-5pm, and Sunday, 2pm-5pm.
