Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery on the post office in Stanton Harcourt yesterday.
The men, both in their mid-30s, have been released on police bail pending further inquiries until February 5.
Police investigating the incident are continuing to appeal for the public's help.
The robbery happened at about 10.20am.
A masked robber threatened staff with a gun and stole cash and cigarettes.
The man left the scene in an old-style green Rover which was found abandoned in Wadards Meadow, Witney.
The vehicle is believed to have got caught behind a silver estate car as it sped out of the village and officers are keen to speak to the driver of that vehicle.
