I wish to echo the comments made by Michael Clarke (Oxford Mail, December 31) and others regarding Bonn Square.
Not only has our city council wasted nearly £2m on the changes to the square, but the finished version is appallingly bleak and barren.
Indeed it is so much worse than the previous square that it’s a case study in how not to undertake redevelopment.
This must be one of the worst examples of incompetence, financial and otherwise, by Oxford City Council, to date.
