Firefighters have warned drivers to take extra care on the A43 near Ardley this morning.
A fire crew was called to the road, near Cherwell Valley Services at junction 10 of the M40, after brakes on a lorry overheated at 6.40am.
The crew sprayed the lorry with water to cool it but the water has subsequently turned to ice.
