Drivers on the A43 in north Oxfordshire were warned to beware of ice today.
Police warned drivers approaching junction ten, the Ardley interchange, to be on their guard.
There was a minor lorry fire on the interchange earlier this morning, and some of the water used to douse the flames is believed to have frozen on the road.
