An Oxfordshire pre-school is facing closure unless enough money can be raised for a new building.
Whitchurch-on-Thames Pre-school, near the Berkshire border, needs an estimated £40,000 to replace its current building, which is more than 50 years old.
The building “urgently” needs knocking down and rebuilding by the end of the year, says the pre-school.

Its Save Our Pre-school campaign has raised around £2,000 at the time of writing.
A statement from the pre-school said: “We are turning to our community for support in this time of need.
“We need your help whether you’ve attended the pre-school yourself, sent your own children, would like the option to in the future, or just want to support young families in the village who rely on this critical support structure as they combat childcare accessibility challenges amid the cost-of-living crisis.
“Your generous donation can make a profound difference in the lives of our children and the future of our pre-school.”
