Am I the only one who believes Russia is doing the right thing in South Ossetia?

It appears to be looking after the rights of its people, and fought to protect them.

There is a precedent to this action.

When the government of Argentina thought the Falkland Islands (the Malvinas) were part of Argentina and took them by force of arms, what did the Thatcher Government do?

We sent a task force to chase the Argentine troops out.

So it is a bit rich to criticise the Russian action - a case of pot calling the kettle black.
