Police have now extended a cross-country hunt for a missing man to Oxford.
Ameer, whose surname was not provided by officers, went missing from Harrow on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Now almost three weeks after his disappearance, officers believe that he may have travelled to Oxford and are now searching the city for him.
Harrow’s police force released a photograph of Ameer on Tuesday afternoon as part of a public appeal to locate him.
A spokesperson for Harrow MPS said: “We are appealing for information to locate Ameer from Harrow.
“He was last seen at around 10.30am on April 18, 2024.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting 01/242161/24.”
Thames Valley Police republished the appeal and said: “Can you help the MET police trace a missing man?
“Ameer went missing from Harrow. He may have travelled to Oxford.
“If you see him please contact MET police. Details below.”
