The organisers of Banbury's first ever Pride event say the response in the build-up to the event has been "phenomenal".
The inaugural Pride will take place from May 31 to June 2 on Butcher's Row, which will be closed to traffic for the weekend.
Chair of the Banbury Pride Committee, Tom Staples, said: "I am so pleased we've been able to make this happen.
"It's a real show of support for the LGBTQIA+ community in Banbury.
"The response already has been phenomenal and we are so grateful to local people and businesses who are sponsoring the event.
"We have events planned all weekend during the day and evening, there will be live music, bands, drag queens, karaoke, quizzes and more.
"We really want to lay the foundations this year to make this an annual event."
