A warning has been issued over surface water on the M40 near Oxford.
There have been reports of surface water on the M40 at junction 8 near the Wheatley interchange after a heavy downpour of rain.
It is affecting the motorway in both directions, according to the warning.

A social media post from Oxon Travel, which provides travel and transport updates for Oxfordshire, said: "We have had reports of surface water on the M40 junction 8 in both directions, near the Wheatley Interchange. Approach with caution."
The Met Office is forecasting more light showers until 7pm this evening (Tuesday, April 16) in the Oxford area.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "Blustery sharp showers becoming fewer and further between during the evening to leave many places dry into the early hours."
