Harwell and Hendred under 15s girls football team have won the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire County Cup.
Chloe Knibbs, who recently recovered from a fractured wrist, scored the winning goal against the reigning champions, Aylesbury Town, in front of 346 spectators at Didcot Town as Harwell and Hendred held on for a 1-0 win.
The team booked their place in the final after managing an upset as they beat MK Dons academy 4-2.
The squad had to train in car parks and do circuit training in changing rooms as they were left without playable training pitches in the run up to the match due to wet weather.
The team's coaches, Peter Knibbs and Matt West, have been instrumental in preparing the team for their matches since the team's formation over four years ago.
