A 10-year-old boy from Wantage will have his hair cut for charity after growing it out for two years.
Oliver Henstridge decided a few months ago to donate his hair to The Little Princess Trust.
The charity uses donated hair to make wigs for poorly children who have lost theirs because of serious illnesses like cancer.
Mr Henstridge is also raising money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a global charity fighting type 1 diabetes.
The charity works to help people live with the condition, prevent people from developing it and ultimately find a cure.
Mr Henstridge surpassed his initial target of £500 and has so far raised £630.

Oliver Henstridge's mum, Victoria Henstridge, said: "Oliver is incredible, this is a very selfless act he decided to undertake.
"His words to me were 'I'm going to cut off my hair mum, for poorly children. I want to put a smile on their face when they wear the wig'.
"It takes a lot of courage for a young boy to grow his hair for just over two years and decide to chop it off for an amazing cause.
Outrageously proud of him, an inspirational young man."
On September 30, Oliver Henstridge will have his hair cut at Alexander's Hair Studio in Grove.
